The one-year university course covers the areas of optoelectronics, photovoltaics, electronics and lighting engineering, providing basic and application-based instruction at the highest academic level. This course is unique in Austria and provides valuable university education for some of the most important technologies of the future (LED, solar cell technology, lighting engineering).

Alumni and graduates of the one-year university course can then enter into the two and half year masters course and secure excellent prospects for their professional future.

This in-service training course is intended for skilled workers with relevant vocational training and practical experience as well as graduates of appropriate four-year courses at technical colleges. Over the course of four semesters, participants will acquire technical expertise, business competence and project management experience.
